You do not have to let your nails go into total disaster because your appointment still isn’t until a few days.
In this video, I want to share with you the three things you need to do if you’re wearing gel nails that are 4 weeks old or older. These pro tips will help you prevent any catastrophic breakage or unsightly bacteria growing underneath the nail plate, also known as the greenies.
(SIDENOTE: Many confuse this green bacteria that appears on the nail plate with a fungus, but it is actually a bacteria called Pseudomonas aeruginosa).
These techniques are going to help you stretch your manicure until you can get your nails done again, or even if you want to grow your nails out and let them grow out or come off on their own as much as possible. The best part is that this mani tidy-up session takes a board file and cuticle oil.
Alright, when you’re ready, hit “play”!
