First, why does anyone become a nail tech?
In my experience, it is because of two things…
- Creative artistic outlet
- Be their own boss
In this video, I want you to understand a successful nail tech’s income.
And these are going to be rough numbers based on my own experience.
Your big livelihood expenses are going to hover around $3500.
Including: biz rent, supplies & other, your own personal rent, transportation, food (groceries)
We’re not talking continuing education for your business, clothes, and personal utilities.
We’re also not counting having a budget for personal and business emergencies.
Working full time as an independent renting your own space, you have the potential to gross approximately $90k per year. (You will be busy, and let’s keep it real, yes also tired…)
But to get there in the first place, you are going to need CLIENTS.
Clients are the lifeline of our business and livelihoods.
3500 x 12 = 42000
-$90000 = 48000
$21000 = taxes (20-25%)
$27,000 for yourself and biz needs.
These thousands of dollars extra is roughly your profit every year.
That means about $2250 each month for your needs and your biz needs.
There is definitely no time to waste running a hobby business.
In order to run a profitable nail business, you need to regularly attract and book the right-fit clients. Those that love you and the work you do, and will happily pay your prices (and your price increases)
Helping clients get booked faster with the right-fit clients is something I’ve been helping students achieve behind the scenes now for four years, and in the next few weeks, I’ll be opening my coaching program, Client Booster Camp, to help more nail artists book clients easily.
Get on the waitlist here, to stay in the know of the programs details.
I’ll not only give you the strategies, but I will also personally be looking at things like your website, booking site, and social profiles to make sure you are on the right path to attracting your best and ideal clientele.
I currently don’t have another high-touch event like this booked for the year, and this opportunity has limited spots. I’m looking for a group of approximately 10 nail artists who want to get serious about growing their clientele with the right-fit clients to become a profitable business.
If you’re interested in this opportunity, you’ll want to sign up for the Client Booster Camp waitlist here to keep up with all the details, including early bird pricing, which starts this weekend and ensures you get in at the best price.
There literally is no time to waste, your livelihood depends on it.

Alright, thank you for joining me, and I’ll see you next week!
