My Favorite Pro Cuticle Pushers | I need these 3!

Today, we are going to talk about cuticle pushers. You might be wondering if that’s all we’re discussing, but they are actually quite important. In a world where we desire meticulous manicures—like structured overlays with pristine cuticle areas—it’s common to think that being overly aggressive will lead to cleaner applications and cuticle areas. You may feel that you need to exfoliate or trim extensively with your tools, such as nippers or cuticle scissors, but that is not the case at all.

In fact, I didn’t start focusing on detailed cuticle prep until I began teaching in the salon. When I was fully booked with clients back-to-back, I provided quality services that lasted for weeks, and I achieved that with a mild prep method that I refer to as quick and efficient.

I wanted to jump on tonight and share my three favorite cuticle pushers. Do I really need three different types of pushers? The answer is no; you can absolutely create an awesome manicure without all three. However, I started using all three as an educator because I’ve come to understand how each one can help me perfect my technique. It’s really become an obsession for me.
