No structured overlay is complete without a top coat.
But let’s be real: sometimes, we nail the builder gel application so well that we are hesitant to ruin the overlay with the top coat.
And here’s the thing: no two overlays are exactly the same. Sometimes, one is thicker, and sometimes, the nails are very short. Other times, we have several art mediums going on, and often, clients like us don’t want their nails to get too thick.
So, we want to make sure we have a vast knowledge of the different top coats out there and, most importantly, the characteristics to look out for when deciding on the two or three that will inevitably make it into your toolbox.
